Which team would be good for a computer programmer?
I am thinking of buying a new computer. My laptop 2 years old died. I am thinking of buying a netbook for the mobile field and a powerful desktop to a workstation. My old Acer laptop had 4GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, 1.8 dual-core Turion, and a GeForce 7800. In my perception that the thing was fast. The running XP Pro without delay. What settings do you think benefit a computer programmer? I could find on my own but I want to see what other people might think. Thank you.
7805P has an nVidia Entry 9800 and on the same configuration in another (faster CPU, however). I use an older version (6860FX) for software development and is more than enough powerful.
