Converting a WiFi router into a wireless printer server?
Ok, so I have a Canon printer with Muti built into an Ethernet port, a WIFI network and an old but working WiFi Router. I need the printer to work wirelessly, but I will not buy a wireless printer server. I configure my old wifi router (Linksys WRT54G) to become a print server or a bridge to the Ethernet port of the printer?
No, because a router can not communicate with other routers, as they will be the source not the client. If your printer has an Ethernet port, why not just connect to an Ethernet port on the router current.
