How to get the hinge shower screen chrome?
I just got a shower screen, the hinge (which is on the wall and the bit shift) are gold and I want to be chrome to match the rest of my bathroom. What product and how do I do it so that a polished chrome hinge Thanks x I do it myself. I could spray paint chrome, I know you can get the chrome spray paint
Go to the paint section at Lowe's. Should have a product called a primer binding metal (not sure of the brand name). In my Lowe's, I found the first link, near the TSP and other solvents. Get First union of metal and get some chrome paint. If possible, remove the doors and hinges and paint the hinge separately. If not, use a small brush to apply the primer binding and chrome paint. You can paint without the first link, but the first strong link ensures good without scales and chipping, especially in a humid environment like the bathroom. Good luck!
