Compaq server displays 15 SCSI tape drives in device manger but there is only one!?
We have a couple ML370 with Windows 2000 (I know, I know, I just started here, is listed for download). We can not get the backup software running BackupExec, apparently because the windows is reporting 15 tape drives, although there is only one internal SCSI DLT installed. I guess I had been working at some point before. No know if it ended this way disrepair because of a patch, or a user / operator scam. Any ideas? Sorry, not a DLT, but rather an Ultrium-1 drive. Good reflection on the terminator – no one is there, but they can go bad? It is an internal cable and the terminator has a circuit board and is different from external terminators.
get a SCSI terminator to end the debate.
