Parallel to USB cable is not working?
I have a HP 4050 TN laser printer that is on a parallel port. The problem is that my laptop is only USB. I bought a parallel port for USB cable when plugged it in and Windows recognized and installed in the printer. It seems that everything should work, but it is not. It is in virtual USB port and tried to put it on them all without luck. Not printed. Could this be a bad cable or something that I miss. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Click on the icon of the printer unit and select the correct port. Make sure it is set to virtual port.
